Questions learners ask
Does Sanskrit decline numbers by gender like nouns?+
Yes — एकः / एका / एकम् for masculine / feminine / neuter "one", and similarly for two and three. Higher numbers stay constant. The vocabulary deck teaches the neuter forms first.
How do I say a year like 2026?+
Sanskrit uses compound forms like द्वि-सहस्र-षड्विंशतिः (2026). The Numbers deck lays the foundation; compound year-forms come in a later deck.
Are Sanskrit numerals different from Devanagari digits?+
Devanagari has digits ० १ २ ३ ४ ५ ६ ७ ८ ९, but in classical Sanskrit text the words (एकम्, द्वे) are more common. The deck teaches both side by side.
